Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing Industry (Cooked Food)
- Position Title: R&D Executive (Food & Sauces) / Food Technologist (R&D)
- Working Location: Woodlands
- Working Hours: 5.5 days, Mon – Fri (9 AM – 6 PM) / Sat (9 AM – 1 PM)
- Salary Package: Basic up to $3,500 + Yearly Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- To develop new products from ingredient sourcing, laboratory and kitchen trials to commercialization, focusing especially on sauces.
- Prepare product specifications, set up formulas and write technical reports and test run plans.
- Perform consumer sensory testing and shelf-life studies for pre-launch products.
- Ensure all product creation complies with customer, government and legal regulatory requirements within the country of use.
- To conceptualize new and innovative products.
- Generate innovative solutions to help grow and value-add to customers’ requirements within the budget set and manufacturing capability.
- Engage in R&D initiatives such as cost reduction, ingredient substitution/consolidation.

- Diploma or Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science/ or equivalent.
- Min 1 year of culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment is preferred.
- Familiar with savoury food processing and safe food handling.
