Responsibility: • Manages the day-to-day work of an IT team. Leads the IT support functions from a technical perspective • Manage the overall IT strategy, operations and infrastructure. • Lead and manage the IT team responsible for providing support and services to the entire group, ensuring effective collaboration, productivity, and alignment with organizational goals • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks • Monitor system performance and ensure data security and integrity • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and hardware/software platforms. • Planning and managing the IT budget, including allocating resources, tracking expenditures, and optimizing costs • Evaluating and selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with external service providers • Manage and monitor projects to ensure the committed deliverables are on track and on budget with minimum risks • Provide consultation and propose system/solution to enhance business processes • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, solutions, and vendors to enhance our IT capabilities • Ensure the availability, security, and integrity of IT systems and data through effective security measures and disaster recovery plans. • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, including data privacy, security, and software licensing compliance. • Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolution • Collaborate with vendors and external IT service providers • Conduct training sessions to enhance staff IT literacy • Oversee all software licenses are updated and kept safely • Manage data backup and restoration process • Provide metrics and reports of IT system usage • Manage annual IT budgets & monitor appropriate budgetary controlsVERITAS is one of the world’s leading integrated multi-disciplinary design firms, with a network of global offices delivering award-winning architectural and related professional services which realize innovative sustainable solutions for the built environment.
